You need to send all AoS forms and required supporting documents together. Do not send them separately. From my personal experience I would suggest that you courier the whole AoS bunch to the NVC.

How many people will be joint sponsor for your spouse? One or Two. If it is two then only tick NO. Otherwise tick YES.

Sponsorship from your father or mother who stay in the same household as you do will not count as joint sponsors. They fill form I-864A if they live in the same household as you.

i am having 2 joint sponsors.i am thinking to take sponsorship only from my joint sponsors and not from my parents.will that be ok??or is it such dat being my spouse i have to sponsor him and submit my parents tax papers which includes my name as a dependent??

If you are a dependent of your parent/s then they can't be your co-sponsors?

hello SA23, i dont have any idea about the joint sponsor thing, but i can share with u our experience on submitting documents.. after we sent the choice of agent form and paid the AOS bill online, and it was shown as paid, we were advised by NVC to print the document cover sheet and to submit the AOS and other supporting documents immediately..i hope this will help.. goodluck!!

on which e mail address did u mail ur chioce of agent form???do we have to scan and mail it or is it something else coz if i mail them through courier it will take 20 days to reach US.. and dats really long.anyone who can plz do reply...

hello Sa23, what we did was, my husband(petitioner) scanned the ds-3032 he received, emailed it to me, then i printed it, filled it up, then scanned the filled-up ds-3032 again and emailed it back to my husband and to [email protected]., but to be sure, my husband printed and Mailed the ds-3032 again, although it's not in its original form anymore, but atleast it was signed by me..and i assigned my husband as my agent..he will receive all notices/correspondence in my behalf. the reason is that if all notices from nvc will be addressed to me, it will take forever before they reach me..

Any given day I would prefer a courier with a tracking number over an email.

Well if your parents can meet the poverty guidelines then just use them by filling i-864 and I-864A. If not then use joint sponsor.

Ds-230

On top of the DS-230 it says in the "Instructions" that you need to fill the same form for each member of your family, regardless of age, who will immigrate with you.

So you need to fill this form for your children, each on seperate forms.

FYI sent the DS-230 for husband 2 weeks ago and the DS-230 for the childrens went thursday and still no response yet. I espect it to take another 2 weeks at least but this was to let you know. This has been a loooong journee.

No sahsan! I am still waiting.. I am expecting that they are currently processing the cases of June/July 2010 filers.. Do you know anyone who applied in these months and got approved?

No, I don't. I applied in Aug and I expect to hear by january. Not sure about the june/july filers.
