Can my parents stay, Recevied 797c of receipt of application only

I am US citizen and I petitioned for my parents green card and their adjustment of status. They are currently in US on H1B VISA. We received I-797C stating application was received and fees deducted.
Does this mean they can now stay in US beyond their I-94 till the application is fully processed ? There is no mention of extending of their stay in US or any other detail on 797c.

Please guide. TIA

Yes, they can stay in the US for as long as they have a pending Adjustment of Status (I-485) application.
