Civil Documents needs to be submitted at NVC !!

Hi,

I am about to Submit Civil Documents for my mom's green card to NVC in USA. They are asking for Original Documents, and when my mom will go for Interview, she is suppose to submit all the Original documents to VFS in India. How is this possible?
If we are submitting Original Documents at NVc here in States, my mom wont have original documents with her at the time of Interview.
Can somebody help? I called NVC and they said they will send all the documents to Embassy in India, does that mean my mom doesn't need to take any original documents with her at the time of Interview then?

Submit originals at NVC.
