AOS or Consular Processing

I filed for my husband's GC, in Aug 07. The visa bulletin shows that the currently the cases filed in Jan 08 are being processed. Thus, his priority date should be current.

Now, since, I have filed for a family based GC for him, can he still apply for an Adjustment of Status or Consular Processing, while being in India? If yes, what is the procedure? What are the other options for him.

Please note that adjustment of status can be done only in the U.S. while consular processing can be done only abroad.
