PIO Application status tracking on CKGS

I submitted PIO Minor application to BLS office in Atlanta on 05/06 and according to BLS website then application was submitted to Indian consulate on 05/07 after that there was no update until 05/20 on BLS.
I started tracking CKGS since 05/24 and the status is "Your Passport is received from Embassy and will be dispatched to you shortly". Not sure whether Passport is with CKGS with application approved / already dispatched.
I had no clue what's going on with application / passport from past 10 days. I sent an email to CKGS on 05/29 got reply on 06/01 and they are asking me to track the status on CKGS website. It's the same link which I was trying and no proper reply from'em.
I want to visit CKGS Atlanta office in person and track / collect passport.
Is anyone in similar situation with above status and success in receiving passport?

    Appreciate your response.

    Thanks
    VBSD

How did you enter the number, as OCI12345... or just 12345... I tried both, none worked ( I have applied in March)

I had also applied for Visa on May 25th. When I checked the it by keeping Tracking ID field blank and the web ref. no. USASV......, the result came as "Your Basic Details are Entered 5/21/2014 10:29:17 PM". Funny thing is they received my applications through FedEx on May 23rd. Which makes me think, this is some default status, probably not relevant?

My application was accepted by Consulate on 21-May and My tracking message on CKGS says " Your Passport is being processed at the Embassy."

My application is for OCI only, so the File No. that worked for me was the OCINxxxxxx number.
It could be different for different application types (OCI+Renunciation, PIO, etc.).

Just look out for the email from BLS that says
    "Dear xxxx yyyyy,
Your application has been accepted by BLS International Services. Your application Reference ID is OCINxxxxxx. "

Hopefully it wil start working for others too.

It's a question to Mr. Sanjay Bhaduri, CEO Cox & Kings Global Services, what about the promises made by you in regards to the services to be rendered. We have been requesting and subsequently shouting to submit our application at the centre but there is no support at all from you all.

All you guys want is more money, can't you guys have a quick look at business ethics as well. I need the services for which I have paid to BLS and you've taken over the work from them.

I have got the email id of Mr. Bhaduri and will share it if required.

    Another brain teasing company

Weren't things complicated with BLS and now CKGS (Cox and Kings) has added more to the problem. All the applications submitted with BLS are now lost and there is no track of the same on the CKGS website. They are not ready to entertain any applicant who went to BLS in the past.
They all want us to spend even more money and submit a new application again with them but we have already paid for the service. This is a clear case of loot/dacoit in day light. The concerned authority must take strict action against them. I also wrote to the Consulate General for this but they say that the application status should be dealt with CKGS and CKGS don't give a damm about ourproblems.

    HELP is urgently required

Does CKGS SFO office entertain others to check the status on your behalf?

I was wondering whether my relative who lives in the bay area can visit the CKGS SFo office, and check the status on my behalf? I could send a notarized letter authorizing her to do this. Anybody done this or something similar with CKGS, BLS or indian consulate before?

    TIA

I applied for OCI+Renunciation back in mid March. Since, I didn't hear back from them till 3rd week of May, went head and applied for Visa on May 23rd. I was in the same limbo about renunciation, without the original Indian passport. I talked to CKGS rep, he didn't have clue on what to do. I went ahead and sent the visa application anyway as my travel was approaching. I also included a long letter explaining the scenario. I don't know anybody reads/cares about it (if they were so careful/concerned we wouldn't be such pathetic situation anyway:-()

So, all my documents are with them, not able to track a single thing online. The reps on the phone sound nice and helpful, but honestly, I don't think they have any clue either.

I will probably go visit their office toward end of next week ( I live in South CA).

My OCI+Renunciation application is in limbo and I am thinking of applying for a visa now so I can travel to India, but I don't know how to get my renunciation certificate. My Indian passport is with the originally sent OCI+Renunciation package as well.

I stopped by the Cox & King NY office earlier this week to check on the status of my application and while most of what I observed was chaotic, there were some encouraging data points. Specifically - there were a number of people who had submitted an application to BLS and even though they were NOT able to track their application on the Cox website, had received an email from Cox advising that their application was ready for pick up. So it would seem that even though the online tracking tool is completely dysfunctional (when I try to input my application details it says "no record found"), things are apparently working behind the scenes. I still remain in limbo waiting for any word on my application (waiting for OCI card match up) - but will update the forum if and when I hear something. In the meantime, I would suggest people email the consulate and Cox. Even if they do not respond, the weight of complaints will hopefully alert them to the scale of the problem.
