1. Is PIO card a seperate card (like green card) or a visa stamp on the US passport?
2. Required doc list from consulate (SFO) website says...
A. Copy of U.S. Passport (notarized copy) [Page with particulars only]
B. In respect of children born in USA, photocopies of Indian Passports [First Page and last 3 pages] of both the parents, duly notarized and photocopy of US passport of the child.
My understanding is... a notarized photo copy of US passport is sufficient and no need to send the original US passport. Can someone, experienced with the Indian consulate SFO correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks.
