  • Indian Visa through Agents ?!

    Hi,

Im in St.Louis (H1) - my daughter who was born three months back has a US Passport. I am planning to visit India for few months. I was googling the internet for Indian Visa, found few agents who take Visa. Is it a good idea to hand over the passport to them to take the Visa - since i'm in Missouri, i've got to travel to Chicago to get the Visa myself.

Spoke to an agent in Houston - she told me since they are agents they can get Visa from anyplace - is this true?

Do you know of any good service that does that? Are they reliable? Thanks.

maybe he wants the agent because the indian consulate does not give proper info on the website and does not answer phones
