I am writing to you for advice on change of name to an Indian passport following a marriage.
I am a British Citizen and my wife is an Indian Citizen. On our marriage on the 26th Jan 08 we will apply for her visa for UK. But before we do that, we have first decided to change her name in the passport. It is with this process that I would appreciate if you could give us some advice
1) What form to complete?
2) Where can we get the form?
3) What are the fees?
4) How long before she receives her new passport?
5) What supporting documents she need to submit with the application?
6) Do I need to be present or sign any part of the application as I'll be returning back to London very soon after the wedding?
7) Where do we submit the completed form?
