Hi

I was born in India and I recently got my Citizenship status in the US. I would also like to keep the citizenship status in India, I believe I have to apply for OCI, I'm not sure if it is OCI or PIO, how do I apply where do I apply how long is that valid. Could you please send me all the information. Please recommend what is best for me.

Also please let me know if I can do the same for my daughter,or what would you recommend for her, she is 8 and she was born in the US.

If you are US citizen, you can't keep Indian citizenship as India does not allow dual citizenship.

You can either apply for OCI or PIO card. /compare-oci-card-with-pio-card/
