To Whom it May concern
I am in the process of collateing documents for my mum and dad to obtain a OCI card.
I do not have any other documents for my dad apart from his old Cancelled Indian Passport to prove that he was an indian born national. Can i obtain OCI with this? He now is an British Citizen.
Also i see that we now have to surrender the indian passport with a fee of £90.00. Do i need to surrender my old cancelled Indian passport and pay £90.00? And then pay £165.00 on top to obtain OCI Card?
Do I need any other Documents if i have my old Cancelled Indian Passport
Another question is that i have a certificate for for mum saying she held an indian passport but she has no other documents. can she obtain an OCI card? She is now a British Citizen.
