Dear Sir
My sister applied for oci at london.She recieved letter from them demanding-
-affidevit that she never had indian passport
-birth certificate
she born india. but never had indian passport .and her birth certi was not issued as she travelled on mother's passport ( her name was in mother's passport) which was issued in 1945 from india.and went africa. Then her first british passport was issued. We tried to get birth certi from india but her there is no birth registration details found there.
Althogh she has letter of indian high commi of kenya confirming her birth in india as our father had applied there to register as indian citizen at that time and they got it. we gave it to IHC LONDON with oci app..
Please advice us what can we give them in abcent of birth certi ?
only affidevit that no indian passport was and birth certi were issued will be enough?
