It shouldn't matter when the H1 is expiring. matter of fact mine has already expired. I think it matters if you are a PhD or working in an educational institution, then it will go faster as special processing

thanks for the reply, well i have masters here in US and i have over 6 years of working experience in US but i had to go with EB3 as the requirements in the JOB ad said 3 years or bachelor ....

mine is Govt firm so they will not change a word...atleast they accepted to do it... i am waiting with lot of curiosity to know whats in store...? does EB2 or EB3 affect the time frame of PERM processing time?

Received courtesy notice from DOL today. PERM will be certified, filing date is July 28, 2009, email notice received March 5, 2010. Good luck everybody!

Fingers crossed ! PD Jan 2010

Lawyer delayed the application by 2 months.
Have visa for 5 more months.
Staying out of country for 40 days to gain more time.
My hospital is worried if I need to leave.
Watching a speeding up of process makes me hopeful.
Any way to speed up things. Probably no.

Pretty sure May is done

It seems from other sites and this that may processing is complete... and June and July have started. Although some of July ones are special cases only, so beware of that while estimating your own dates..

I applied in Oct'09, fingers crossed as still a long way to go.

I hope the approving officers are not just cherry picking dates. It would be stressful if someone's file gets ignored.
