How soon can I come back to US if PERM and I-140 approved after 6 yr stay

My H-1 will expire in Apr-2013 and 6 yr stay would be complete. My company plans to apply PERM(Labor) in Mar 2013. If PERM and I-140 is approved after I leave the country, can I come back soon after approval or do I need to wait for 1 year outside of US and apply for fresh H-1? please advise

H1 Visa - 6 year limit clock - Reset

Hi

I first came to US Dec'2005 under a H1 visa and returned back in 2008. I took a one year break returned back to US on the same H1 visa in 2009 and have been in US since then. I would have stayed in US under the H1 visa for 6 year H1B by Dec-2012.
