Hi all, currently i am in H1 B transfer process,which has already been delayed (today its been 6 months).
I called USCIS and they said they have too many applications and yours is in process.
So i was thinking to transfer to H4 as my husband as approved I-94 so that i will get EAD....

My change of status from F1 OPT to H1b happened within USA in Jan 2010.I work for a university non-profit so it was a non-cap h1b.

1st h1b approval had an I-94 # 567xx [1/1/10 - 12/30/2012]....

My wife, on H4, is traveling to India and will be getting the visa stamp for H4 renewal through the new drop-box program. I wanted to know if I, primary applicant (H1-B) can send my passport with her to get the stamping along with hers? I will not be traveling to India though.
