      What forms did you sign?

Hi,I have the same situation, pass the Us government and history test ,But A decision cannot yet be made.
At the end of the interview the officer was glad he got all answers .Then he told me he needed a witenss then he went out to called his colleague to sign one of those forms and I signed at the same one and another one .At that moment I thought I would be approved, but turning out with A decision cannot yet be made. I asked him if there was any issue ,he told me he need to scan those documents and his supervisor would make the decision. Now I am sure it will take more than 120days to wait (I saw someone near me ,waitting till 8 months after the date of Interview) ,even it says 120 days on the N-652. I also worry about the forms that I signed at the end, if there were any traps such as agree to give up some lawsuit rights .
Do you remember what kinds of documents that you signed ?

The processing time for Baltimore according to uscis is 12 to 16 months from beggining to end. How long has it been since you send the application?
You should do and appointment through infopass and see what they say.

Hello I'm new in this forum I had my appointment Jan 16 in Fresno Ca, and what happen to you happen to me exactly, The IO officer said she needed a witness so we went to a different office and I sign 2 papers and the witness officer also sign one of the forms and just like you I didn't pay attention to the form that the witness and my self sign, after I sign the forms she just took copies of my green card, passport and gave me the forms N652 I asked if she needed anything else but she said I got everything I need we will send you a letter, I left disappointed and confused because I passed everything
Now I'm just worried about the one form I sign along with the witness.

Hi- Im new to the forum. I had my Citizenship interview today at Detroit, MI. Passed the test and IO officer took me to verify my forms.

Finally, he gave me N652 form and mentioned my Security checks pending and decision is not taken yet. Can anyone had this kind of situation? pls advise and help.

                          Hello Bavas,

I was also interviewed on 4/10 in Detroit, and told the decision can not be made at that moment.

no any updates after that, do you have any update for your case?
                          Thanks...

Had my interview on August 21 in the Dallas office. Just like the posters above: passed the tests, signed some minor corrections to the form as well as the name and signature form for an eventual citizenship certificate. After that: decision can not be made at the moment. The IO said the wait can be up to 60 days to resolve the case! Anybody with Dallas experience?

Had my interview on Aug 13 in San Antonio, TX. My interview went well and probably only took 10 mins. The officer couldn’t make a decision then and there because apparently he didn’t have time to review my case? He told me that he should have the decision within 2 days. But till now, I’ve yet to get an update.

I have a kind of similar scenario. I passed my test and the IO asked if I have travelled outside USA after I have filed petition for N400. When I said yes . He said the application has been updated and will go to review . I have not heard anything from uscis and it is been more than 40 days. What should I do?
