Oath timeline for Detroit?

I cleared my citizenship interview on June 11th. I would like to know if anyone has had the interview in Detroit in June and received the Oath date?

I was interviewed on the 15th of April and got my oath scheduled on the 20th of june - so roughly 2 months. This is in line with the officer's statement after the interview that it will be about two months to the oath. What did your officer say?

I know of a close friend who had the interview in the last week of May and already completed the oath on June 20th. Maybe you should call and find out why the delay.

My timeline is similar to yours. I completed my Interview on 05/22 and no oath letter yet. I have an infopass appointment tomorrow. I will post any updates after my appointment. Meanwhile, if you get any updates please let me know.

I had an infopass today at the Detroit office and was told that I have been placed in queue for a group ceremony (This is the one in which they schedule 1000's). I don't know why they cannot schedule me for the other one that they do every week with about 70 people. I asked the officer if I will be scheduled for 4th of July and the officer said she cannot say anything about it. I wonder why they have to specifically wait foe a group ceremony for my case, when so many people who interviewed after me have already completed their oath. Does anybody know ayhting about this?

Iam going to have an info pass tomorrow again to check the status why I did not receive the oath letter. I had info pass last week 6/18 and officer told me Detroit DO received my case on 6/13 and is in queue for oath scheduling.
From where did you get the date of July 4th? When did Detroit DO received your case for oath Scheduling? Also when you received any updates, please let us know.

Thanks and Good Luck. Please do let me know the updates from your infopass appointment. I did not get much information from mine. The IO just said my file is waiting to be scheduled for the group ceremony at the cobol hall. She did not say anything about when the Detroit DO received my file. I probably should have asked her when the next ceremony is scheduled for at the cobo hall. I did not. I just assumed it is on the 4th of July from the posts in the immigration.com forum.

Infopass is a process by which you schedule an appointment at the local DO to get more info about your case. I have seen many people do this especially after interview if the oath letter is not received in 4-5 weeks. You need to access https://www.immihelp.com/infopass-ap...nt-with-uscis/ to schedule one.

If it is on july 4th, then we should have received the letters by now. From last 3 months the big ceremony dates at Cobo hall are April22nd, May23rd and June20th and next big may be around July 22nd, just a guess.

For my tommorrow's info pass, Iam worried because Iam going again there 2nd time within 9 days which may annoy the officer, hope not.

Now I remember. I think there is one Ceremony either on the 7th or 9th. During my interview the AO mentioned that this is going to be a special ceremony on that date and asked me if I would like to attend that. At that time, July 7th looked like a long time to me. So, I said no to that. Then he said he would just schedule me in the regular one. I think that's why yesterday the IO said that my file is waiting to be scheduled for the ceremony at the cobo hall. I guess because I said I don't want to attend the big one on July 7th, I will have to wait for the next regular one. Did your AO say anything about this? You will probably be in that group. I think you will receive your oath letter by Monday. For me, I think it is going to be a long wait.

I went for Info pass today to check the status of my Oath letter but did not get much information, same news that My file is transfered from Immigration officer to the person who schedules the oaths. They don't know when are the next available oath dates. I interviewed on may 21st but people who interviewed later got their Oath letters already. Guys, Please participate in this forum in posting your dates rather then just reading which will help others and yourself. Please post if anybody around my date are still waiting for oath letters? Finally I received the oath letter in the mail , 10 days after my wife received hers. Fortunately we both are scheduled for the same date in July. Good luck to you guys. Keep watching your mail !
