  • Worry

I received my Finger Printing letter July 30 and a yellow paper (Sep 26) stating to bring my driver license to the interview. It is Nov 24 and no letter for interview. I checked the online status and it states RFE dated 29 Jul 09.

Should I be getting worry or just relax? I called the customer service line but all I get is recording.

I think the best thing to do is to get an infopass and go and ask them whats going on with your case.
    Good luck

Infopass is making an appointment with your local uscis office and have an oppotunity to ask a immigration officer or government officer questions regarding your case. You can get an infopass by going to https://www.immihelp.com/infopass-ap...nt-with-uscis/
        Hope that helps.

What a joke. I went to my Infopass appointment and all they could tell me was that it takes at least a year. When I checked the immigration website it said average processing time was 5 months. She also told me if I need to speed up my process because I was going overseas to mail a letter to USCIS national benefit center.

Can anybody tell me writing a letter makes any difference?

Yes it has , twice in my case. Your letter needs to be clear, concise and to the point.

Would you happen to have a sample letter to share?
