  • H1b Visa stamping was refused but I 797 petition was approved again

    Hi,

I got my I-797B petition approved and there after attending for H1b Stapming, VISA was denied on October 2011.
Then the Petition status was under analysis, now when i looked at the status of the petition, it has been approved again by USCIS.
I am left with I 797B form, and the remaining petition set (Labour notice, applciation by employer etc.) such documents have been kept by the consular.

Can someone guide me on the next course of action?

    Thanks,
    Sarat

Those would be returned to you by the consulate. Contact them.

If they are simply copies you might as well ignore those.

Your employer can provide you with all those documents and the re-affirmation notice for the petition. Take that to the consulate and they will issue the Visa.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
