Change of employer during extension RFE and expire I94

My current H1B stamping is valid till 14 Feb 2013 and my current employer has filled for extension which is currently pending against RFE. My current employer is yet to receive the RFE notice and response to RFE will be sent by March 2013.

In the mean time I am getting a new job. But they will not be able to file for my H1 transfer before the visa expiry date of 14 Feb.

Is it possible to join new job in my case?

A petition filed after I-94 expiry will be bridge petition, it can only be approved if the first petition is approved and if your first employer withdraws their petition after you leave them it is not possible.
