  • Lost my I-94

    Hello,
    I lost my I-94 card recently that was given to me in 2002 when i first entered US as a student.
    i got my H1-B approved and I-129 has a I-94 information.
    now i want to visit india in may 06
    do i have to apply for a new I-94 or not ????
    Can i use the I-129 when i am leaving for India????
    I am confused
    can someone please advise me on this.

      the process of application is going to take 90-120 days and may get delayed due to the volume of the applications with uscis.
      i have heard that sometimes airline prepares a departure record if someone does not have a I-94.
      is this true??
      Also i do have a copy of the Original I-94.

        Submit the copy you have....

        If you have the copy of I-94, you don't have to worry....just submit the copy to the airline. All they (USICS) look is the I-94 number to record your departure from US.
