LCA - During H1 Extension (same Employer)

Hello folks

I have a basic question on LCA. My current project ends on 31st Dec 2015. My I94 expired in Oct 2015 and my H1 visa extension is in progress.
If I start working with another client (different state) from Jan 2016 (my employer remains the same), will I be able to file for LCA and petition amendment
considering my I94 is expired and visa extension has been filed?

Yes. You can do that based on the pending H1B extension.
