Can I withdraw H1B visa processing in RFE state as my Comp.has applied for GC ?

Hello,

I have applied for H1B VISA through another Company, while I am currently on L1 VISA.
My current company has now applied for GC and I would like to go for that one and want to
withdraw H1B.
My H1B is currently on RFE state and responded back to RFE last week.
My questions are :
1. Can I withdraw H1B Application at this state?
2. Is it possible not to opt for H1B after it gets approved and continue with the current L1 status?

Was h1 applied as a COS? Under what category is the GC filed EB1/2/3?
