Are original copies needed for dropbox ?

Hi All,
I am traveling to india on a short trip in two weeks. I seem to have misplaced my I 797. However, I do have a scanned copy if the form.

The dropbox form says that i only need a copy of I797 and not the original. My friend visited india few months back and his drop box forms explicitly mentioned that he needs to carry the originals as well. He visited Pune center and I will be visiting Chennai.

Would there be any problems if I just carry a photocopy/print of i797 ?

Yes..... even if it is a drop box... they will expecting the original copy of I797 document to verify your details...

So, better try to find the document......
