My Visa and I94 expired on 5/31/2016 and I had my extension approved on 6/21/2016. My extended petition has an I94 slip at the bottom which says valid from 6/1/2016 till 5/31/2017.
If I need an H1 transfer filed to my new company, is it better for me to have a stamped visa on my passport before starting the transfer or does it not matter? Can my new company file a transfer in this scenario and can I get my stamping done at a later point with the new H1?
