I am also in the same boat. I appeared for Interview on 6th March in New Delhi consulate & my status is AP since then. No slip or additional docs request till now.
My return flight is on 28th March. Did you receive your passport or any update ??

Yeah, this state of not knowing wtf is going on is driving me nuts.

No update yet.

Do you see any change in the Case Update date at all? Coz mine has never been updated since the date of interview - March 7th.

VI date: Feb 12
Location: Mumbai
Officer said that the passport is approved and handed me back the I797 and a generic white paper that said the same thing in 4 languages. The paper says " Thank you for your application! Your passport and visa will be sent to the location you selected when you made your application. The delivery location is listed on your appointment letter......."
Is this 221g Form? I assume not. There is no case number or anything on this paper.

CEAC update date: Feb 12 to AP.
No further updates after that.

Emailed and called them but got the same generic reply to wait and I will be contacted if they need more documents.

My recent experience with H1b visa renewal stamping -
--Dropbox = Feb 8th, 2018
--Received my passport and 221G = Feb 15th, 2018
--Interview date = Feb 16th, 2018

During the Interview VO asked me few questions -
-- Employer Name?
--Annual Salary?
-- Designation in Company?
--Where do live in the US?
--Which university in the US did you graduated from?

Then at the end of interview VO says "Your visa is approved and you'll get your passport in 2-3 days"
--Case date created = Feb 9th 2018
-- date updated = Feb 16th, 2018
--Next date updated = Feb 21st, 2018
--Last date updated = Feb 28th 2018

My online visa status still says "Administrative processing" and there is no update since then. I tried calling them but they always give a generic answer and nothing else.

FYI - I have never has issues with H1b visa stamping before. And this is my H1b visa renewal stamping.
Any feedback or comment regarding it will be appreciated.

No update on my case but I asked my immigration lawyer whether this was a 221(g) or not. This is what she said, not sure if it helps but thought might add some context:

"Thanks. The 221(g) would actually be a notice from them indicating your case is in formal admin processing. As you have not received it, your research is correct that this is part of the new approach for additional scrutiny under the Trump administration."

Mismatch status ds160# vs 221g#

Hi,

Need help understanding the situation. I had my h1b visa interview on 8 Mar. I was issued 221g White slip. On 13th Mar when i checked the status using my 221g#, it showed and still shows 'ISSUED'. But when i check with my application ID(DS160#), it shows,last updated=7 Mar, status= 'APPLICATION RECEIVED'. I Sent the consulate an email regarding this and they asked me come to the consulate for fingerprints and Interview on Apr18. Can anyone explain whats going on

The date of last update changed to today but still says Administrative Processing.
