H4 status extension for under 18 child

My wife and 2 kids are H4 dependent from my H1b. When we entered in U.S everyone except my daughter, who was 3 at the time, got an I-94 date of 2018, which is the same as the approval notice. My daughter had a short expiration passport and got an I-94 status date same as her passport expiration, which is March 2017.

Do I need to apply for a status extension only for my daughter and make her I-94 in sync with the H1b approval notice? Will we have any issues extending the H1b/H4 later if she stays our of status?
