  • Name Change

    Hi,
I got married on Aug 23rd, 2007. I am currenlty working in Sacramento, CA and I am on my H1-B visa. I would like to know whether there is a different process to change my name because I am not a citizen. And also whether I need to change my name on my visa and passport.
If I was to change my name I woudl take his frist name as my last name. I would like to know if there would a problem with that too.
    thanks

You don't have to change the name. You can keep it same if you want to .

If you want to change your name, you have to got it changed everywhere.
