  • H1 employers

    Hello,

I've paid for my H1. Now, I know it was wrong.
I'm not ready to join the H1 employer when the H1 is apporved. I've voided the COS.

I heard H1 employers threaten people for not joining them. Is this true ?

What should our stand me in this case ?

    Please let me know.

    Thank you.

      All right ....

... at least you do accept that you did wrong by paying for your H1B.

You need to make sure you have the documentation, like copy of checks etc. that you paid.

Now, if you don't join the new employer, they really can't do much against you else you can inform them that you will file a complaint against them for charging you for H1B.

Come to think of it, see what happens? Imagine if you had not paid for H1B and then decided not to join the new employer - the company loses money and then other prospective employees are affected.

      Take care.
