Reading all the posts here about h1b remainder policy, I believe I am qualified for that option. I got my h1b from Oct 2005 and left the US on 2008 to pursue my MBA in Europe. I am now planning to go back into the US in early 2010 with a work visa (assuming I can get a US employer to sponsor me beforehand).
My question is what are the requirements for the h1b processed under the remainder policy? how long does the process take? is it similar to applying a new h1b (under the quota) wherein I have to apply on April and can start working on October?
