H1B visa transfer query

Hi,

I've an H1B visa (from Company A) on which I worked in the US(at client side) for about a year or so.
I came to India on vacation and got my visa stamped in Nov 2009 from Bombay consulate.
My visa is valid till Sept 2011.

Due to my health problems, I had to extend my stay in India by 1 more month.And because of this, my employer(Company A) cancelled my H1B visa from the US.

My question is:
Can 2 different India based employers, say Company B and Company C,apply for my H1B transfer while am in India?Or is that at a time only 1 employer can apply?

Both can do that. It is not like something physically gets transferred from one company to another.

It is essentially a new H1 not subject to cap.
