Hi:
My employer did not pay me during the bench time. Now I have a job. He is not paying as specified in the LCA.
I am planning to complain to DOL against my employer. When I talked to one of the immigration lawyers, he prefers to negotiate with the employer for getting the money back than filing a complaint against DOL. Reason being complaining to DOL may take a year or 2. I want to complain to DOL because I don’t want other people to fall in his trap like me.
1) Will complaint to DOL take a year or two?
2) I have all the documents from my employer. Can I do it myself or do I have to go through a lawyer?
