I am currently on the 6th year of H1B with expiry in Feb 2024. I do not have an approved i140 to be able to extend my H1B.
I plan to change status to H4 with EAD with starting date in Nov 2023. My EAD is valid until 2026. If I have my employer start the perm and i140 process during my H4 EAD status and I get my i140 approved, can I later apply for H1B change of status and extension using that approved i140?
