  • H1B visa stamping question

    Hi Can anybody tell me if I can use a HDFC receipt number (payed at hyderabad branch) at the chennai consulate?..or Do I need to PAY and get a new receipt number from chennai HDFC branch to appear for my interview at the chennai consulate...

      Shervin thanks for ur quick reply... I checked out that page but the page itself says you can still do it...

      So I am just trying to find if there is anybody here who did it before?

        You can pay anywhere in India and apply for Visa at any consulate/embassy in India.

              Thanks for immihelp.

              Recently I have attended for h1bVisa stamping and I have received passport, I found that there is not employer/company/petetion name on the stamp page. Please suggest whether it is needed or not.
