H1 blue slip from Mumbai with comments

It seems there are different blue forms. In my form there is nothing specified about grey envelop and all. I submitted the documents at VFS, they put it in an envelope. I paid Rs 180 for the entire process.

yep...me too...no grey envolep was mentioned in my blue form...just submitted the docs at VFS..

As I am now entering US after 3 months, so will that be any issue at port of entry?

Yes it does say to submit the documents in a new envelope. Further it mentions that this grey envelope can be bought at any VFS location.

At the VFS counter the lady asked me if I have the grey envelope. I said NO. She put my documents in a grey envelope and I paid for it. - 180 rs.

No updates on my case either. Submitted the passport on 2nd December. Still waiting for any kind of response from the Consulate

Anybody else is in similar situation. Submitted passport after 221(g) blue slip response and awaiting for response for more than 2 weeks

The case status got updated today Dec 19th after last update on Dec 12th. There are lots of cases that got cleared..

does any of yours CEAC no appeared in the pdf for December?

Well,,My case number did not appear in the Report.Though i was checking it everyday..i directly received a mail from the Consulate stating that,i need to submit my passport!
