Overwriting in I94

Hi,
I am holding in H1 visa. While entering in US, while issuing I94 at immigration, they wrote initially as B1 then striked and wrote as H1. So basically there is an overwriting in I94. When I took this i94 to DMV, they are saying it is void since there is a striking and asked me to get a new one.

Could any one please help me in letting me the process to get new i94. Do I need to go to airport or any other office? Any prior prepration before I go to the designated office? Please help me.

Go to the same POE and talk to an officer at the CBP. They can help you in getting the I-94 replaced since that I-94 was issued there. If that doesn't work, then follow the link in the previous reply to get a replacement.
