H1 b transfer
I moved from company A to B, after 2 months company B shut down and now I am going to join company A , I am on H1 Band I have still 2.5 yrs on that. My question is after my last date in companyB can I stay in this country till Company A files H1B for me, I am having appointment letter with me.

When you are in H1B you need to be working and getting paid. You cannot stay in the country without a job. You will go out of status. A successful transfer to any other company or a COS to any other status is not possible when you are out of status.
