I am currently on L1A from my current company. Are there companies who are and also will file a new L1A on joining itself or when I am recruited and yet to join? If this is possible, what needs to be done from my side and what needs to be done by the new company?

Also which kind of companies will do this?

Dont understand your question. You can apply for L1 only for those companies for which you have already worked for while outside US for at least 1 Year in last 3 Years.
