  • Criteria L1a to EB1c

Hi, I have an L1a Visa starting from 20 DEC 2018. I joined my company in the US as a CIO on Jan 6th, 2019, and have been paying taxes and have SSN in the US since. If I want to apply for EB1c/I-485, what are the criteria? Does one have to spend a certain number of days in the US to be able to qualify for EB1c? My job involves a lot of travel. I have traveled in and out of the US a lot this year. Attached is my travel history.
I have been heard different criteria from different people; some say I have to be in the US for min 180 days to be eligible, and some say as I am paying my taxes in the US, that's all that matters.
I plan to be in the US during my application process, what else do I need to take care?

    Thanks for your help

For a GC application neither your current residency status/duration nor your duration of employment matter.
