Hi,
I am in US on L1-B Status . The I-94 is expiring on 28th feb, 2012 (also end of 5 yrs on L1B visa). I have not yet stamped the US visa in India.
My company has now filed a petition for L1-A which is in the initial review phase.
My question is - I need to travel to India in July 1st week urgently. Can I travel to india and get the L1-B visa stamped while L1-A is still in process. It might be approved till then. There will be 8 months for expiry of L1B visa.
Is it possible to get the L1B stamped if L1A has been approved. Because I cannot file for L1A visa as the expiry of existing visa would not be less than 6 months as required.
Please advise what can I do ??
