Green Card time for blanket L1A visa (EB1 category)

Hello,

I recently came to US on a L1A blanket visa (managerial category). I am planning to apply for my Green Card through EB1 category. I wanted to know the following -

1. Time taken to get the Green Card from the day I start processing. I am getting conflicting information on this..some people say its faster and others say it is just like any other category

2. Are there any folks who started the GC process in teh past few months and can they share their experience or what state they are in?

3. Are there any pitfalls that I should watch out for as I go through the GC process.

Obviously its not the same time as L1B, EB1 will be faster and you can expect GC in 6 to 18 months. It depends on how strong is the case. I have a friend who got in 9 months and another friend who got a query and process got delayed.
