I have tried, the photo can be uploaded, but when I continue to use this photo, there is another error:

Application Error
An unexpected error has occurred while processing your previous request. The error has been reported to the site administrator; no further action is required. To retrieve your DS-160 application, please enter your Application ID.

I got this information after I uploaded the photo: Please note that you may be required to bring a passport-like photo to your interview.

I clicked "Next: review" button but it kept on coming back to the Confirm photo page.

What a shame... I also have interview arranged 18.02.2014. at 08am... Seems it isn't going to happen. And the next available date is Feb 25.

I am facing the same problem as well. I was initially get the invalid parameter error and then I started get the unexpected application error and now I am back to the invalid parameter error.

I am about to have my interview on 02/19 and i rescheduled it.

The system was down yesterday.. I tried today but every time I go back, the webpage cannot be displayed.. Tried again and the error persists.

Hi I am from United Kingdom and unable to upload photo graph in DS160 online form from friday and I received various error and i have tried this morning and now I getting the following error message "Error: There was a missing or invalid parameter in the request". I have tried with Internet Explorer and Google Chrome browsers.

It happen 2 days ago until now. I try to call U.S. call center in Thailand but signal was cut by their system.

I'm also in Shanghai. Having the same problem. My interview is tomorrow. I wanted to cancel it and reschedule it to Feb. 27th coz this is now the earliest date available. The website told me it can't cancel my interview! The visa center is off today for holiday so I can not get an answer from anyone what is going on. Seems there's nothing I could do about it now. Have to wait until tomorrow to call them.

I uploaded a photo that was not up-to-standard by intention to allow me "continue without photo". Then everything works smoothly.
It seems to me that the system resets itself at 12:00 am
