I just got the following reply from US support:

          Dear Islam Said,

          Thank you for your inquiry.

Please note that the website is in maintenance so keep on trying until you will be able to complete a DS-160 Form.

          Thank you,

Been having the same problem all weekend...never know if you've done something wrong or if the site is acting up. "Happy" it's the site and not something wrong with forms.

Question for the group though, would really like to schedule the appointment, can I do that without having signed and submitted the DS-160? It's letting me on the site for the Hong Kong Consulate.

I dont think that is possible cause it needs the barcode number from a completed DS160 form, as far as i know

Same problem here in UK with Google, Safari and Internet Explorer... I want to book interview, reserve ticket, etc. but I can't do anything because my visa application haven't not been completed. And there is no guarantee that the problem will be fixed within this week. How annoying

                    Hello guys!

It seems that I understood what is happens with photo uploading script.
It admits my photo when I saved it in JPEG without optimization, progressive and all other checkboxes (in Gimp).
Also I didn't "Use restart markers" and set subsampling to 4:4:4 (Best quality) and DCT method to "Integer", although this shouldn't affect, I think.
Just dumb and plain pixels flow.

But now I'm getting "Application error" :-/

I believe the photo upload tool is from an external website and once uploaded, is having trouble signing back into the DS160 form website again

Photo Accepted, but cannot move to Review Section

                          Hi,

I don't get the error now, however, now I keep getting Photo is Loading on Confirm Photo Page. Has anyone able to move any further? How to report this issue to uscis?

The uploaded photo can be previewed on the webpage. After clicking on Next and complete upload on the left navigation menu, the webpage jumps to review section. Information can be reviewed until Location information. Next: Sign and Submit button is unavailable and cannot go through to the last section.

                              Confirm Photo

Now I am able to upload my photo and on the "Confirm Photo" section i am getting the "Photo Is Loading" text appearing but the photo is not loading. When i click the "Next: Review" button then i can view my uploaded photo(blur) and it's not going to the "Review" section.

Any one having the same issue??

All we can do now is just wait for the system to be fixed.
