Wrong I-94 stamping.

I am on H1b.i visited india last month.i came back to US on October 3rd with my mother .My mother is having 10 year Visitor visa. we landed at Newark Airport.at the time of port of entry.I gave both passport with I-94 forms to the officer.he stamped with out asking any questions.After comming home we noticed that The I-94 Stamping is swaped.My I-94 is stamped on my Mother Form.and My monter's is on My Form.Like On my monthers I-94 they stamped as H1B I-94 valid upto sep15 2007.
and on my Passport I-94 B1 valid upto April 6th (ie 6 months). My question is how to correct this.where we need to go for this. please help me.

Try with local INS office near to your place. It works some times.

Customs and border patrol issue I-94s . For incorrect entries
you need to contact their office in your area asap.


It does not give the phone no. of the office but you will have to do some research on their website. GOOD LUCK.
