Good news. I see lots of new appointment slots available from Jan'06 in Chennai for all languages. I just rescheduled the appointment for my in-laws this morning.

How to schedule an appointment at chennai

Hi,

I am trying to book an appointment for my mother thru the vfs site. I am able to create an application and fill up form ds 156. To schedule an appointment, there is no provision for me to pick a date.

Do we need to personally go to the VFS centers to get an appointment date?
How do I book it online. ( Note: I have the HDFC visa fee receipt number )

Do I need to fillup the DS157 also? ( I guess it is only for male applicants right ?)
