    Hi

I am an indian citizen who has been in canada since last 28 months.I have been working as a floor secuirty guard at a mall in vancouver since 6 months.I am not a permanent canadian resident.

Recently, i went for interview for USA B2 visa in vancouver and was denied.

The visa officer asked me 1 - when did you come to canada from India?

My answer - i came here 2 year and 4 months ago approximately

2 - why do you want to go to USA?

My answer- i want to go to USA TO celebrate new years

3 - Have you ever been to USA ?

    Answer- NO

4 - Do you have family in USA

    Answrr- NO

5- Do you have family in canada

    answer- nO

6 - Then how do you live?

My answer- I live alone( What i did not tell him was that i live with 2 roommates in my house- the reason i did not tell him was because i do not consider them as friends)

7 - WHat work do you do ?

Answer- i work as a security guard at a mall

8 - how much money do you make in a month?

Answer- i make 4000( he got overwhelmed and asked "you make that much as a secuirty guard?'' i told him " i work a lot of ots" which i actually do , 2 seconds later i told him "i make that much approximately" , another 2 seconds later i told him " That is gross", 5 seconds later he told" your visa application has been denied, please exit from XYZ way"

I have never worked cash in hand in canada or anywhere in the world, in canada i have worked legally on my Post graduation work permit.I do not have any past croiminal record against me in india or in canada. The only foreign country i have visited is canada

Can someone please explain why he rejected it?
