Hi everyone,
Im a single mom Im now living with my parents and my daughter, I work parttime and have no properties or bank account. I applied for a visa in Dec. and got rejected on 27th Dec.. I had a supporter in the US, he's my friend and he already sent me all the documents to proof that he can support me when I come over there. And here is my questions and I dont know why my visa got rejected based on the 214(b), when I really didnt have the intention in staying in the US after the due date.
Here are my questions:
C: have you ever been abroad?
Me: no
C: why do you want to go to the US?
Me: for tourism purpose and to visit my friend
C: who is he?
Me: answered
C: how did you know him?
Me: answered
C: are you dating with him?
Me: we're friend only
C: please have a sit, I'll call you back later
wait till he interviewed all the interviewer waiting at his window
called
C: how did you know him?
Me: he's my friend's coworker
C: how did you know your friend?
Me: through fb, I have met my friend in person in 2013 when he came here, he introduced this friend to me
C: have you ever met him? (my friend's coworker)
Me: no, but we saw each other through skype, we talk to each other very often
C: what do you do?
Me: I work parttime
C: why not fultime but parttime?
Me: because I will have more time taking care of my daughter
C: where do you work?
Me: answered
C: why didnt he come here but you come over there?
Me: he was too busy with his work, besides coming to the US is helpful for me in my future career (I mean after coming back from the US but maybe he misunderstood
)
C: smiled and nodded his head
C typed a lot on the computer then turned and told me
C: Im sorry but your visa is not approved this time
gave me back my passport and a letter of refusal
I know that my ties in my country are weak but I have fully support in the US, besides my friend works for the government, Im not going to stay longer than my due date. I dont want my friend get in trouble and also myself if I have another chance to go to the US. Can anyone tell me why please? Thank you very much.
