J1 visa

I plan to apply for a tourist hisa to visit my mother who's in J1 visa this December. Her J1 started this August. Currently, I am at my senior year of my undergrad course. I plan to go back ofcourse and finish my undergrad here. Is that enough proof of ties for me to go back in the mother country? Moreover, i do sidelines in events, and a marketing parter at a real estate company for at least a year. Since i an a student, i do it part time and the salary is commision based. My mother will be funding mg trip. How are things would go here for me to have a tourist visa?
