                Congrats KittyKitty

At last after 20 months of painful wait, today Dec-26-2018 my parents also got their visa issued.

Out of frustration we emailed the consulate in November to return passports as my parents were planning to visit my brother in Bahrain, and needed their passports. So when I emailed them to return passports they replied if I want to withdraw just the passports or the application as well, I was like seriously after almost 20 months you want me to just withdraw the application? I replied I just want passports back let the processing continue and reach some conclusion.
After about 3 weeks on Dec 18th I got an email stating that the processing on your case has been completed. Please submit your passports back to conclude processing. I couldn't believe my eyes. I immediately asked my parents to submit the passports again and they did that. Then on Dec 21st for the first time the CEAC case last updated changed from 21st Apr 2017 to 21 Dec 2018. But the status remained the same the word I hated most "Administrative processing" and then finally today Case last updated date changed to 26-Dec-2018 and status finally changed to "Issued". Also got email from American express to collect the passports.

I wish all of the members who are still waiting get their Visas ASAP.

So in Pakistan (I can speak for Karachi don't know about other cities) all document handling between applicants and consulate is done through American Express.

                        Sound great,
Still I didn’t get any news since Feb 2017. Near two years now. Did you email them again?

I am a U.K. citizen with higher education qualification and very highly paid slalary job and no criminal record. I have visited USA several time in past with ESTA in the past however, they s time I feel that due to my Islamic background, I have been put on 221G which makes no sense. I am not even given an option. I have no desire to leave U.K. for USA and my case is puzzling. I hope this gets sorted soon. In 21st century to treat people like this because of their religious background is shameful. I hope I am wrong
