Query related to B2 Visa Extension filling

Currently my parents are in USA and their I-94 is valid till SEP 29th 2018. Im planning to extend their visa for another 1 months,can someone please confirm if this can be done on Own or needs to be takencare by only attorneys.

If an individual can file extension, please can someone list the procedure and checklist of documents needed.

They file I-539 to apply for Extension of Status. They do not need a lawyer. Read the form instructions to see what is needed.
