I have 2 questions regarding the visitor visa documents.
1. We are sending the originals of birth certificates, employment letter, bank account verification letter,I-134, DS-156 (signed by me as I prepared the application), invitation letter (signed by me) and letter to consulate (signed by me). Are these the only originals that are required or did I miss anything.
2. I had asked this question before. We send money through my NRO account to my mother's bank account in India for purchase of a proeprty for us. The bank confirmed that she doesnt need to pay taxes for them. She also told me that the passbook doesnt really say that money from NRO account or money from remit2India etc. So is that ok, if we show that account in the affidavit. My concern is that account has around 2 lakhs money and not withdrawing it and depositing into another account may create more questions.
Does any one have experience where VO asked where this money came from in your account etc?
Please suggest. I need to act on this quickly as their appointment is approaching.
